Both big and small publishers need content that is reliable and cost effective according to professional writer Mike Gagnon.

 

Gagnon, a former publisher himself, hopes to help fill that demand by offering his own unique services to businesses of all types.

 

“I’m a hands-on person who deals with each client directly…” Gagnon said in a recent interview. “Most of my content is custom made for each specific client, which makes each piece unique and exclusive.”

 

Gagnon specializes in hard news, business features, pop culture articles, press releases, web design, graphic design and more; anything that appears in print really. You may have seen some of his work already and not known it.

 

“Some of the most important copy a business will ever need is in press releases that the end customer may never see.” said Gagnon. “That’s why it’s important that people know that I don’t just serve publishers, but businesses that are trying to make a name for themselves too.”

 

Gagnon’s work has appeared in literally hundreds of venues. He’s writes hard news for regional newspapers, press releases for small business, entertainment news for national magazines, as well as material for several websites.

 

“My services are important to the business community because information is now passed so quickly and easily between people…” Gagnon explained. “…it is becoming harder to find sources for reliable and accurate content among the misinformation.”

 

The Ontario native says he approaches every single project with verified and detailed research, in order to ensure that every piece passes fact checking standards.

A new purpose in my career

I'm currently working on a news story about a local woman who has been missing for 25 years, and her family's search for answers.

The more I get into this, the more I feel like this is why I was meant to be a writer, to bring cases like this to the public's attention.

I can't say much more until the story is completed, but it's really given me a sense of purpose and something that I feel strongly about.
